Hasbro Tiger Electronics Launches Line of Tween Electronics

Hasbro, Inc.’s (NYSE: HAS) Tiger Electronics is beginning the fourth quarter of 2005 by introducing a line of consumer electronics and lifestyle designed specifically for tweens. This includes the VUGO portable multi-media system, the VCAM NOW, a stylish digital video camera for tweens, the ZOOMBOX projector, the I-DOG Interactive Music Companion, the Videonow XP, and the CHATNOW Two-Way Radio Communicator, a personal communicator that allows kids to be in touch with their friends and family in up to a two-mile range without paying for airtime or signing a calling plan contract.

“When it comes to entertainment, the tween audience wants to be just like their older siblings and friends, and Tiger has the ability to bring to market exactly what kids want – really cool, affordable, high tech products,” said Sharon John, general manager, Tiger Electronics. “As we approach the holiday season, Tiger is launching some incredibly innovative products that will provide tweens with hours of entertainment in the home and on the go.”
